Siobhan has worked with children, adolescents and adults in private practice for 7 years. She has extensive experience working with children of all ages and abilities, with expertise in creative arts therapy, play therapy, non-verbal communication, developmental issues, adjustment issues, and preparation and support through medical experiences and chronic medical issues. She also works with attachment and new parenting issues.

Siobhan has worked as a Creative Arts Therapist and Certified Child Life Specialist in pediatric oncology/hematology for 10 years, and with children and adolescents in the foster care system.  She worked as a Movement Therapist with young children with neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly children on the autism spectrum, in a special school setting.  She also worked with children and adolescents in inpatient psychiatry.  Siobhan is currently adjunct faculty at Bay Path University in Longmeadow, MA.

Siobhan's approach combines talk therapy with creative arts and a body/mind focus as it suits the needs of the client. At first the focus is on clarifying what your needs are and how you would best work together.  Active listening and being present and responsive to you is the foundation for the therapeutic relationship. In her work with children Siobhan combines play therapy with creative arts, as children naturally express themselves this way.

Siobhan's office space is convenient, comfortable, and conducive to safe, creative expression. Her style is comfortable, supportive, and fosters curiosity and growth.
